The unfolding disaster in Gaza dominates our news screens and is having a big impact on ordinary Muslim people here in the UK. The Gaza crisis has highlighted that many divisions still exist in our society. It seems to have prompted increasing instances of racism, Islamophobia, antisemitism, etc. which have led to rioting across the UK in recent months. When people stop meaningful dialogue, then undercurrents of resentment flare up into violence.
Mahabba offers some resources to help us understand the Gaza situation and our Muslim neighbours better and to pray in an informed way. We are also posting pieces by some well-placed individuals.
Below are links to these resources, including articles on our website and to those on other websites.
